What is Giclee?

Giclee is a fine art reproduction process which is based on digital technology. 'Giclee' is a French word meaning "to squirt or spurt." The printer squirts archival ink onto cotton canvas delivering a quality that must be seen to be believed.

Are the prints waterproof and smudge-proof?

Yes. Canvas prints are absolutely smudge-proof and waterproof. UV protective laminates that we use on the canvas add even more durability.

How long my prints are going to last?

Prints should not be exposed to direct sunlight just as any original artwork. Under normal lighting conditions, our inks will not show noticeable fading for at least 100 years.

Do your prints need a glass covering?

Absolutely not. You hang our canvases on the wall just like you would an original painting. That is one of the great features of a giclee print.
